Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) is an iconic arts center in Jakarta that is currently undergoing a major revitalization managed by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), a company owned by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. The project aims to transform TIM into a modern cultural center that functions as a creative hub and an inclusive public space.
Established on November 10, 1968, by then-Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ali Sadikin, TIM was named after Ismail Marzuki, a renowned Indonesian composer. The complex was developed on the site of the former Cikini Zoo, which was relocated to Ragunan in 1966. TIM was envisioned as a hub for fine and performing arts, reflecting Indonesia's rich cultural heritage.
In 2019, the Jakarta Provincial Government initiated a revitalization project to modernize TIM while preserving its cultural essence. The project aimed to transform TIM into a creative hub and urban art center. The revitalization was completed in 2022, introducing new facilities such as co-working spaces, children's play areas, and modernized performance venues
TIM regularly hosts a diverse range of cultural events, including:

Music Concerts: Classical, contemporary, and traditional music events.
