Dufan, short for Dunia Fantasi, is a famous amusement park located in the Ancol Dreamland area, North Jakarta, Indonesia. It is one of the most popular recreational destinations in Jakarta and part of the larger Taman Impian Jaya Ancol complex. Dufan was opened to the public on August 29, 1985. Known as Indonesia’s first and largest modern amusement park at the time of its launch.
Dufan is divided into various themed zones such as Indonesia, Europe, America, Asia, and Fantasy Tales. Some of its well-known rides include:
Halilintar: A thrilling roller coaster.
Niagara-gara: A water ride that drops from a height.
